My Airsoft Journey in Japan

Well actually the first half of the day was a teireikai at BLAM in Saitama back in 2009. So we did play with strangers for the first part. We were 3 couples that day driving in a rented van from Yokohama so only the guys played first because there were some serious players that day. Our girlfriends were intimidated by them and I even got a grenade shot to the face by a M203 user so their worries were warranted. It was fun but there were too many players crammed into that small indoor field.




After they all left, the field let us have private games with just our group of 6. I used my Type 89 rifle and my gf had the P90 which was the best running gun for cqb. The Type 89 was very accurate but it’s too heavy and long for indoors. Folding the stock on it helped make those tight corners though. We also rented out some Marui G3 short guns which were reliable if not old as fuck. My gf and future wife said it was hard to get used to the field but she got the hang of it after a few rounds. I believe she shot Jeremy in the head with one shot during a game. She was wearing white work gloves so as they were easily visible so I may have shot her hands at close range couple times. Sorry they were such visible targets! She was wearing my old ACU uniform which made her look badass. Everyone started calling her Angelina Jolie because of the movies Wanted and Mr/ Mrs Smith. It was a good day of games even though we didn’t expect there to be a teireikai at first. It all worked out and we packed up our van and did the 2 hour drive back to Kanagawa. That was the last time I got to play airsoft with my wife. Wish we could have shared more game days together but you know life and family stuff took over our lives over the years. She didn’t join me to play airsoft but she understood why I had to go once a month to a field because she tried it out herself. She was supportive of my hobby and even helped with making airsoft YouTube vidoes later on.

実はこの日の前半は、2009 年に埼玉の BLAM で開催された帝霊会でした。 その日、私たちは横浜からレンタカーを借りて運転していた 3 組のカップルでした。 私たちのガールフレンドは彼らに脅迫され、私はM203ユーザーから手榴弾で顔を撃たれたので、彼らの心配は当然でした. 楽しかったのですが、狭いインドアフィールドにあまりにも多くのプレイヤーが詰め込まれていました。

彼ら全員が去った後、フィールドでは6人のグループだけでプライベートゲームをすることができました. 89 式は非常に正確でしたが、室内で使用するには重すぎて長すぎました。 その上にストックを折りたたむと、それらのタイトなコーナーを作るのに役立ちました。 マルイ G3 ショート ガンもレンタルしました。 私のガールフレンドと将来の妻は、フィールドに慣れるのが難しいと言っていましたが、数ラウンド後にコツをつかみました。 彼女は試合中に一発でジェレミーの頭を撃ったと思います。 彼女は簡単に見えるように白い軍手を着用していたので、私は彼女の手を至近距離で数回撃った可能性があります. 申し訳ありませんが、彼らは目に見えるターゲットでした! 彼女は私の古い ACU の制服を着ていたので、彼女はワルに見えました。 映画「ウォンテッド」と「ミスター/ミセス・スミス」のおかげで、誰もが彼女をアンジェリーナ・ジョリーと呼び始めました。 最初は帝霊会があるとは思っていませんでしたが、良いゲームの日でした。 すべてがうまくいき、バンに荷物をまとめて、神奈川まで 2 時間のドライブをしました。 妻と一緒にエアソフトをプレイしたのはこれが最後でした。 もっと多くのゲームを一緒に共有できたらよかったのにと思いますが、生活や家族のことが何年にもわたって私たちの生活を支配してきました。 彼女はエアソフトをプレイするために私と一緒に参加しませんでしたが、自分で試してみたので、私が月に一度フィールドに行かなければならない理由を理解していました. 彼女は私の趣味をサポートしてくれて、後でエアガンの YouTube ビデオの作成を手伝ってくれました。
